Internet is mostly blocked in the offices, Universities, etc., to save bandwidth. Sometimes you are in need of accessing it. But what to do?? Your internet is blocked by the organization. Below are some of the methods to unlock sites on internet.

There are several methods of unlocking everything on Internet. Let's learn about each of them.

Method 1: By changing your IP address or using a proxy address.

Now you need some basic things like a hand (for clicking :P), Browser (IE/Chrome/Firefox) and the proxy address list.

Steps to change proxy through Firefox.

Step 1: Open Mozilla and click on the Firefox [left top..orange color button] drop down button.

Step 2: Go to the Advanced tab and click on Network tab.

Step 3: Now click on Settings under Connection

Step 4: Click on Manual proxy configurations.

Step 5: Pick any Proxy from the proxy list which you got from the above link and paste it under HTTP proxy.

Note: The IP address format will be some thing like 210.254.12.48:80

210.105.3.199 -- this is the IP address and the numbers after the colon (80) is the port number

Step 6: Enter the port number and leave everything as it is and click on OK.

Step 7: Done. Now check your IP address and location by clicking here

Step to change your IP address through Google Chrome.

Step 1: Open Chrome and click on the Wrench icon.

Step 2: Select Settings from the menu. Scroll down the page and you will find Show advanced settings. Please click on it.

Step 3: Under Network heading, click on Change proxy settings.

Step 4: A pop-up will be opened. Navigate to the Connections tab and click on LAN settings.

Step 5: Another pop-up window will be opened. Under Proxy server, click the check box for 'Use a proxy server for your LAN'

Step 6: Now enter the Proxy address which you got from the above link and enter the port number too.

Step 7: Leave everything else unchanged and click on OK.

Step 8: Done BOSS!!! .Now check your IP address by visiting whatismyipaddress.com

Step 9: Have fun!!!

Steps to change proxy through IE:

Step 1: Open IE and click on Tools --> Internet options

Step 2: A pop-up will be opened. Navigate to the Connections tab and click on LAN settings.

Step 3: Another pop-up window will be opened. Under Proxy server, click the check box for 'Use a proxy server for your LAN'

Step 4: Now enter the Proxy address which you got from the above link and enter the port number too.

Step 5: Leave everything else unchanged and click on OK.

Step 6: Now check your IP address by visiting whatismyipaddress.com

Method 2: Using online proxy sites like Hidemyip, hidemyass..etc.. For more sites like these...please take the help of Google. You can easily find it.

Method 3: Using software's which can change your proxy or IP address automatically.

P.S.: Some of the proxy addresses will be very very very slow and some might even just doesn't work. In such cases, please change the proxy address. WARNING!! Please do not use the proxy addresses for illegal activities.
